「第2回Find Fun 女子パラフットボールフェスタ」開催レポート Report on the 2nd Find Fun Women’s Para Football Festa
S.C.P. Japan held the “2nd Find Fun Women’s Para Football Festa” on Tuesday, April 29, at JFA Yume Field.
This event was organised to create opportunities for girls with disabilities to participate in sports in a safe, supportive environment where they can challenge themselves and grow alongside their peers. Through a variety of programs, including a soccer clinic, physical function assessments, and friendly matches, the day was filled with smiles, energy, and passionate play.
Morning Program: Find Fun Girls Soccer Clinic
In the morning, we held a soccer clinic for children, including girls with disabilities. Not only the children, but also staff members and parents joined in the activities, creating a space where everyone could experience the joy of “playing soccer together” regardless of age or role. Throughout the session, participants naturally encouraged one another, celebrated challenges, and supported each other’s efforts. It became a wonderful opportunity to experience the true value of inclusive sports.
In addition to the main programme, we held a Physical Function Assessment Session with support from the Para-Sports Promotion Support Office of Ibaraki Prefectural University of Health Sciences.
This session was organised as a mini version of our ongoing initiative, “Karada Discovery Hiroba”, which has been developed since last year under the theme “Let’s Learn About Our Bodies!” The assessments provided children and athletes with an opportunity to better understand their own physical abilities and conditions.
It also became an important opportunity for participants to gain awareness of their bodies and reflect on how they can continue to enjoy sports for many years to come.
Afternoon Program: Team-Based Friendly Matches
In the afternoon, women’s disability football teams from various regions gathered for friendly matches. As opportunities for women’s para football competitions remain limited, the event provided a valuable platform for players to showcase the results of their daily training and hard work.
This event values not only “having fun” but also creating an environment where each player’s desire to compete and win can be respected and fully expressed. Throughout the matches, the true spirit of sport — teamwork, fair play, and respect — shone across the pitch as players gave their all in every moment.
Although the players were rivals during the games, after the matches they naturally connected beyond team boundaries, sharing smiles and conversations with one another. It became a truly special and irreplaceable time where new friendships and connections were formed.
In addition, safeguarding remained a key priority throughout this year’s event operations. Through pre-event briefings, written guidelines, signed codes of conduct, and the appointment and introduction of safeguarding officers, we worked to ensure a safe and secure environment where every participant could feel respected and protected.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated, the teams involved, partner organisations, volunteer staff and coaches, and all the parents and guardians who supported the event.
We hope to continue expanding this initiative beyond a once-a-year event and further develop opportunities for girls with disabilities to participate in sports on an ongoing basis. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
