宮崎県新富町と一般社団法人S.C.P. Japanが連携協定を締結 〜スポーツを通じた地域活性化と青少年育成を目指して〜 S.C.P. Japan Signs Partnership Agreement with Shintomi Town to Promote Regional Revitalization and Youth Development through Sport
一般社団法人S.C.P. Japan（代表理事：井上由惟子）は、宮崎県新富町（町長：小嶋 崇嗣）と、スポーツを通じた地域活性化および青少年の健全育成を目的とした連携協定を締結しました。
本協定を通じて、地域に根ざした持続可能なスポーツ振興と、子どもや若者が自分らしくいられる環境づくりを目指して取り組みを進めてまいります。
また、両者の資源や知見を活かしながら、地域課題の解決や住民サービスの向上にも連携して取り組んでいきます。

本協定は、S.C.P. Japanの理事である齊藤夕眞が、2021年から2024年シーズンにかけて、新富町をホームタウンとするサッカーチーム「ヴィアマテラス宮崎（現在なでしこリーグ1部）」に所属し、地域おこし協力隊としても活動していたご縁により実現したものです。
齊藤は2025年シーズンよりWEリーグ（日本女子プロサッカーリーグ）のチームへ移籍しましたが、現役アスリートとして地域と関わり続ける姿勢は、スポーツ×地域活性の新たなモデルケースとなることが期待されます。

ヴィアマテラス宮崎時代には素晴らしい経験をさせてもらい、たくさんの愛情を注いでもらった、大好きな新富町。今回、こうしてご縁が形になり、連携協定というかたちでまた関われることを、とても嬉しく思っています。サッカー選手としてだけでなく、地域や社会とのつながりの中で“できること”を広げていきたいという想いがずっとありました。スポーツの力を信じて、人と人とのつながりを大切にしながら、これからも新しい挑戦を続け、関わる皆さまに笑顔の花を咲かせられる様に努力していきたいと思います。

General Incorporated Association S.C.P. Japan (Representative Director: Yuiko Inoue) has signed a partnership agreement with Shintomi Town, Miyazaki Prefecture (Mayor: Takashi Kojima), aimed at revitalizing the community and promoting healthy youth development through sport.
Through this agreement, the two parties will work together to foster sustainable sport promotion rooted in the local community, and to create environments where children and young people can thrive as their authentic selves.
Leveraging each other’s resources and expertise, the collaboration will also address regional challenges and improve public services.

This agreement was made possible thanks to the connection established by S.C.P. Japan Board Member Yuma Saito, who played for “Via Materasu Miyazaki”—a women’s football team based in Shintomi Town (now competing in the Nadeshiko League Division 1)—from 2021 through the 2024 season. During that time, Yuma also served as a member of the Regional Vitalization Cooperation Team.
Although Yuma transferred to a WE League (Japan Women’s Professional Football League) team for the 2025 season, Yuma’s continued involvement with the community as an active athlete is expected to become a new model for sport-driven regional revitalization.

“I have so many fond memories of my time with Via Materasu Miyazaki. I was shown so much love by the people of Shintomi, a town I deeply cherish. I’m truly grateful that this connection has now taken shape in the form of this partnership agreement.
As both an athlete and a person committed to social engagement, I’ve always wanted to expand the ways I can contribute beyond the pitch. I believe in the power of sport and will continue taking on new challenges while valuing human connections, hoping to bring smiles to everyone involved.”
S.C.P. Japan, guided by its vision of “Creating a future where everyone can walk their own path through sport,” conducts inclusive sports events and educational programs across Japan. Through this new partnership with Shintomi Town, the organization will launch initiatives tailored to the town’s unique characteristics and needs.
