からだ発見ひろば～知的障がいやダウン症のお子さまの身体機能測定会&運動あそび～の測定ボランティアを募集 Body Discovery Plaza : Volunteers wanted for Physical Ability Check & Fun Activities for Children with Intellectual Disabilities or Down Syndrome
この度、10月19日に知的障がいやダウン症のお子さまを対象とした「からだ発見ひろば〜身体機能測定会&運動あそび〜」を開催することとしました。
このイベントの目的は、普段の生活ではなかなか気づかない姿勢や運動、自分の身体のことを知る機会を提供し、参加される方の今や将来の健康に役立ててもらいたいこと、また合わせて開催する運動あそび教室にて楽しく身体を動かす機会を作ることとしています。
今回、こちらの測定会にて、参加者の身体機能の測定をしてくださる理学療法士・作業療法士のボランティアを募集いたします。
●身体機能測定会でご協力いただきたいこと
日頃の臨床などでの知識や経験を生かし、測定会のサポートをしていただきます。
＜理学療法士・作業療法士＞
関節可動域、アライメント計測、筋力測定、バランス検査、パフォーマンス検査などをしていただきます。事前にマニュアルを送付し、当日の集合時に細かい打ち合わせを行います。事前に担当していただく測定項目はお知らせ致します。小児経験がなくても測定できる内容となっておりますので、安心してご参加ください。
＜理学療法・作業療法学生＞
理学療法士や作業療法士の測定サポート、一部測定をお願いする予定です。現時点での学習内容に合わせて担当は考慮いたしますので、ご不安な点があればお知らせください。
今回は、地域のお子さんの健康や発達につながるイベントになればと考えておりますので、ご興味のある方は是非ご参加ください。
S.C.P.Japanでは、7月にも障がいのある女の子のサッカーチームFC RESIAにて、子ども/選手の”動き”を測定するイベントを開催しております。選手の姿勢や動き、柔軟性や筋力などの測定を行い、選手やスタッフにとって大変有意義な時間となりました。

【内容】 知的障がいやダウン症の診断を受けている小学校3年生から高校3年生までの参加者の身体機能測定サポート
※小児経験は問いません。マニュアルに沿って測定していただくため、これまでの臨床経験や知識を生かして測定していただけます。
※S.C.P.Japanスタッフに小児理学療法士がいます。
【謝金交通費】3000円 （理学療法士・作業療法士）
※理学療法・作業療法学生は2000円

We are pleased to announce the upcoming event ‘Body Discovery Plaza: Physical Function Assessment & Playful Exercise’ for children with intellectual disabilities or Down syndrome, to be held on 19th October.
The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity to learn about posture, movement, and one’s own body – aspects often overlooked in daily life – to support participants’ current and future health. It also aims to create enjoyable opportunities for physical activity through the accompanying movement play session.
We are now seeking volunteer physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist with measuring participants’ physical functions at this assessment session.
● Tasks required for the Physical Function Assessment Session
We ask you to support the assessment session by applying your knowledge and experience gained from daily clinical practice.
＜Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists＞
You will conduct assessments including joint range of motion, alignment measurements, muscle strength testing, balance tests, and performance tests. A manual will be sent in advance, and detailed coordination will take place upon arrival on the day. You will be informed beforehand of the specific assessment items you will be responsible for. The content can be assessed even without prior paediatric experience, so please feel assured in participating.
＜Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Students＞
You will assist registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists with measurements and may be asked to perform some measurements yourself. Your responsibilities will be tailored to your current level of study, so please let us know if you have any concerns.
We hope this event will contribute to the health and development of local children, so we warmly encourage anyone interested to participate.
S.C.P. Japan also held an event in July with FC RESIA, a girls’ football team for players with disabilities, to measure the ‘movement’ of children/players. Measurements of players’ posture, movement, flexibility, and muscle strength were taken, making it a highly valuable experience for both players and staff.

【Location】Kashiwa Municipal Tanakakita Elementary School Gymnasium
【Positions】Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists: 6 positions
※Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy students are also welcome to apply using the same form.
【Role】Supporting physical function assessments for participants diagnosed with intellectual disabilities or Down syndrome, aged from Year 5 to Year 13.
*No prior paediatric experience required. Measurements will be conducted following a manual, allowing you to utilise your existing clinical experience and knowledge.
*S.C.P. Japan staff include paediatric physiotherapists.
