2026年2月24日、一般社団法人S.C.P. Japanのメンバーが東京にて開催された「スポーツ・フォー・トゥモロー カンファレンス2026～スポーツ国際交流・協力の変化と挑戦～10 年の歩みを未来へつなぐ～」に参加しました。
本カンファレンスは、スポーツを通じた国際交流・協力のこれまでの実践を振り返るとともに、その成果や課題を共有し、今後の可能性を探ることを目的として開催されました。当日は、多くの実践団体、企業、大学など多様な立場の関係者が一堂に会し、それぞれの現場での取り組みや挑戦について活発な議論が交わされました。
そのような機会において、S.C.P. Japanが、筑波大学・TIAS2.0、GLOBALTREE・ハッピーライフケア株式会社／ハッピーホールディングス株式会社と連携して実施してきた、障がいのある子どもたちを対象とした「スポーツを通じた国際交流プログラム」の取り組みに対し、スポーツ庁長官感謝状を授与いただきました。
本プログラムは、多様性を尊重するインクルーシブな社会の実現を目指し、他者と積極的・対話的に関わることのできる人を育むことを大切にしています。同時に、障がいのある子どもたちに対して、多様性を尊重した包括的な体験機会を提供するとともに、国際交流を通じて視野を広げ、互いの文化や価値観を理解し合う機会を創出することを目的としています。そして、これらを柱として、大学、企業、非営利団体など異なる立場の組織が同じ思いを共有しながら連携し、継続的に取り組みを重ねてきました。
また、団体事例発表の機会もいただき、メンバーの繁浪が『共生社会はスポーツから始まる ― 日本におけるインクルーシブ国際交流の可能性 ―』というテーマで発表を行いました。

スポーツの本当の価値は、あらゆる文化や個性、能力をもつすべての人々が、スポーツの楽しさを通して関わり合い、対話することにあります。まさにそれこそが、「Sport for Tomorrow」です。そしてそれは、3団体が手を取り合い、スポーツと英語という手段を通して、すべての人と分かち合い、思いやりを大切にしながら歩んだとき、ごく自然なかたちで生まれました。
本カンファレンスを通じて、スポーツを通じた国際交流・協力のフィールドが、今まさに新たなフェーズへと移行しつつあることを強く実感しました。同時に、インクルーシブな視点を持った取り組みの重要性、そしてそれを社会に広げていく責任も改めて感じています。
S.C.P. Japanは今後も、スポーツを通じて多様な人々が出会い、学び合い、共に未来を描いていける機会を創出してまいります。

International Exchange Program Through Sport Receives Commendation from the Commissioner of the Japan Sports Agency
On February 24, 2026, members of S.C.P. Japan participated in the Sport for Tomorrow Conference 2026 – Changes and Challenges in International Sport Exchange and Cooperation: Connecting 10 Years of Progress to the Future, held in Tokyo.
The conference reflected on past initiatives in international sport exchange and cooperation, shared achievements and challenges, and explored future possibilities. Representatives from implementing organizations, corporations, and universities gathered to engage in dynamic discussions about their respective efforts and innovations in the field.
On this occasion, S.C.P. Japan’s International Exchange Program Through Sport, implemented in collaboration with the University of Tsukuba (TIAS2.0), GLOBALTREE, Happy Life Care Co., Ltd., and Happy Holdings Co., Ltd., received a Commendation from the Commissioner of the Japan Sports Agency. The program focuses on children with disabilities and promotes inclusive international engagement through sport.
About the Program
The program aims to contribute to the realization of an inclusive society that respects diversity. It places strong emphasis on fostering individuals who can actively and respectfully engage in dialogue with others.
At the same time, the initiative provides inclusive experiential opportunities for children with disabilities while broadening perspectives through international exchange. By creating opportunities to understand different cultures and values, the program nurtures mutual respect and empathy.
With these principles as its foundation, universities, corporations, and nonprofit organizations have worked together continuously, sharing a common vision and building sustainable collaboration across sectors.
Organizational Case Presentation
During the conference, S.C.P. Japan was also honored with the opportunity to deliver a case presentation. Team member Shigenami presented under the theme:
“An Inclusive Society Begins with Sport — The Potential of Inclusive International Exchange in Japan.”
The presentation highlighted how sport can serve as a natural platform for inclusion, dialogue, and cross-cultural understanding.

Looking Ahead
Through this conference, we strongly felt that the field of international sport exchange and cooperation is entering a new phase. At the same time, we were reminded of the importance of maintaining an inclusive perspective and of our responsibility to expand such initiatives throughout society.
S.C.P. Japan will continue to create opportunities where diverse individuals can meet, learn from one another, and envision the future together through sport.
